Chat for Change in Stoke-on-Trent
February witnessed the birth of “Chat for Change,” developed by the Raising Voices group. It’s a model for community organising that’s looking beyond discussion to become a catalyst for community action. The event included a range of experiences, with an exhibition space that showcased artworks from previous anti-poverty projects led by Raising Voices group members.
Cost of Living Summit in Bishop Auckland
Gaunless Gateway Big Local, a community-driven organisation, took a proactive approach to addressing the pressing issue of the cost of living crisis by hosting a summit in Bishop Auckland on September 1, 2023. The event was a resounding success, uniting the community in a concerted effort to address the challenges faced by residents in the area.
